Pneumatic Seals prevent leakage of air, gas within and outside the cylinder. These are often used in pneumatic cylinders and valves. These require minimal lubrication when exposed to air to create a tight seal. Piston seal, Rod seal, Flange packings, U-Cups, V-Cups are a few designs of these type. Pneumatic seal’s sealing orientation can be internal, external ,symmetrical or axial. They are used for low pressure.
